Object Description
Edwardian five stone diamond ring. Horizontally set with five round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 4.80 carats, further set with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.96 carats, to an intricate pierced scrolling gallery, polished edges and open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, numbered ‘205’, circa 1905.
