Object Description
Circa 1900, Edwardian mahogany grandfather clock with chimes, bearing the name James Ramsay of Dundee. The arched hood and silverised brass face have Roman numerals with exquisite engraved brass fretwork. It also has a series of dials to the face, for different chimes, the second hand and to silence the chimes. The door has astragal glazing showing the nine chimes over a panelled base on an enclosed plinth.
