Miniature Chinoiserie Decorated Mantel Clock

Miniature mantel clock housed in a break arch case with raised chinoiserie scenes on a red ground. Stepped moulded plinth with gilded decoration and resting on four brass bun feet, brass bezel with convex glass.

Enamel dial with Arabic numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands.

French eight day movement with platform escapement and integral winding key. C.1900

Object Condition

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
