Object Description
Edwardian natural pearl and diamond solitaire ring. Centrally set with a round natural saltwater pearl, approximately 8.4-8.7mm x 9-10mm, in an open back setting, surrounded by thirty eight round mixed old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.38 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring a diamond set gallery and intricately pierced open backholing, leading to stylised fleur-de-lis shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a slim shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #11874.
