Edwardian old mine diamond solitaire ring. Set with one round old cut diamond, J colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 1.58 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring tri-split claws, a decoratively pierced gallery and open circular backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2239202716.
