Object Description
A small Egyptian heart amulet, known as ‘Ib’ in Ancient Egypt, made from light orange carnelian. Taking the form of a jar, the amulet features one rounded side which tapers to a point, with two lug-handle protrusions on either side. There is a suspension loop to the top and the reverse of the amulet is completely flat. The carnelian offers a beautiful translucency
