Object Description
An Ancient Egyptian restrung necklace consisting of faience beads in different shapes and colours. Turquoise tubular beads alternate with different coloured small, flattened discs in black, white, blue, yellow and red faience. Half way down, the necklace parts into two strongs of beads creating five loops increasing in size towards the centre. The largest loop is further enriched with a circular jasper bead. The necklace is finished with a small silver-plated clasp (please be aware that the clasp has not been professionally tied).
