Egyptian Faience Offering Cup

Object Description

An Ancient Egyptian offering cup made of pale faience, with traces of the original glazing still visible. The cup comes with its original lid and it is shaped like a chalice on a wide flaring foot and a shallow inner cavity.

Date: Circa 1550-30 BC
Period: New Kingdom-Ptolemaic Period
