Object Description
A very fine Egyptian gold amulet in the form of a broad collar, also known as ‘Usekh collar’, featuring a crescentic shape with falcon-headed terminals. The obverse has been incised with multiple horizontal curves mimicking the beaded strands of a collar, and an additional row of drop-shaped patterns at the bottom representing the hanging amulets. The reverse has been left unadorned, with a loop applied to the top middle for suspension.
