Object Description
An Egyptian amulet of attractive orange-brown hardstone speckled with black, possibly representing a stylised lotus flower. The amulet flares outwards towards the base marked with short, vertical incisions. These incisions could indicate the petals or leaves of the lotus flower, and the positioning at the very edge of the amulet is consistent with contemporary styles. A short protrusion is visible at the top which may possibly representing a stem. The reverse of the amulet is flat and unadorned.
