Object Description
An elegant fine quality Edwardian (circa 1910) Quartetto nest of inlaid satinwood tables of serpentine form and in the Sheraton style.
This elegant nest of tables each of serpentine form, all with central inlaid foliate design within oval satinwood panel with ebony and boxwood banding, all with outer quarter veneered satinwood panels, the three larger tables with inlaid stained boxwood foliate, swag and ribbon decoration, all with outer tulipwood banding and outer ebonised moulding.
This leads down to an intricate ebony and boxwood inlaid design to the edge with serpentine shaped satinwood frieze below with raised ebony and boxwood banding.
The tables are supported by elegant tapered legs all with inlaid harebell decoration with ebony stringing to each corner with stretchers below, terminating with elegant spade feet.
This versatile nest of tables are all in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
