Object Description

Unidentified English Majolica pot and cover which features a gnome (or dwarf) laying down next to an ale barrel, with a drinking jug in his right hand. The base in the form of a barrel. Colouration: brown, yellow, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Object Condition

Good. Kiln effect: firing hole to inner rim of jar. RESTORATION. A few filled chips.
