Eugenio Eduardo Zampighi was an artist whose paintings showed domestic life in rural Italy around 1880 to 1900. He was born in Modena and won scholarships to study art in Rome and Florence. By 1884, Zampighi had settled in Florence and was painting his domestic interior scenes, showing the kitchen as the centre of family life. Three of his paintings can be seen in the Museum of Modern Art in Modena, Italy.
