European Bronze Age Bronze Ring-Shaped Pendant

Object Description

A beautiful bronze ring-shaped pendant, dating to the European Bronze Age. The main feature of the pendant is the large asymmetric ring shape which widens on the right side. Above is a ribbed stem which is topped with a rounded suspension loop. Both the stem and the ring are slightly convex. The back of the pendant is flat and unworked. Vibrant patina covers the grey-toned surface of this piece.

Object Condition

Very fine. A beautiful green patina to the surface. Some signs of wear such as chips to the edge, and scratches to the surface.
