Object Description
Circa 1820. Exhibition quality inlaid walnut Regency occasional/games table.
The square top with crossbedding, boxwood string inlay and a central chess
board with individual marquetry inlay on the darker squares, over a fretted
apron. Supported on four wonderful barley-twist supports on an elevated
platform with marquetry panels over cabriole legs with carved knees and
scrolled toes. Wonderful colour and patina.
