The top with various patterns of walnut laid out symmetrically, with a broad banding which is smothered in the finest marquetry, a simple moulded fore edge, the frieze with two full length drawers in floral marquetry, in each corner there is a carved flower head with a downward facing finial beneath, the table rests on a pair of trestle ends with a combination of turned and carved columns and a marquetry section in the center. The legs are braced by an elegant shaped and carved stretcher, all resting on four phenomenal carved feet which includes foliate carving, scrolling on the knees and finishing on a realistic hairy paw foot.
