Object Description
This extremely rare Charles II silver rat tailed mash/masking spoon was made C1680 and measures 7.25 inches in length, it bears the engraved initials of MI to the back of the bowl where it also has some marks possibly makers mark something t and a couple of other marks, it has a long thin stem with a turned end and a rat tail to the back of the bowl, the bowl itself being well formed with no signs of wear, a lovely piece of silver and a rare survivor of the age.
