Object Description

Original watercolour by Mary Potter Mary Potter was a maverick who pursued a very single artistic vision. In fact, quite a watery vision that blurred lines and softened her palette until some times her images were all but completely obliterated. Kenneth Clarke described her paintings as ‘enchanting moments of heightened perception’.
