Object Description
This fine cast George II silver taper stick was made in London in 1759 by William Cafe and measures 6.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches across the base, the base is square and gadrooned around the edges with a petal design to each side, leading into a fluted design up to the stem, gadrooning again to the high points with the bowl having 2 beaded rings, it is fully and clearly hallmarked underneath and is in excellent condition and weighs 7.3 ounces or 228 grams.
