An exceptional new very fine classical design runner, hand woven with natural dyes and beautiful soft hand-spun wool. The weave is extremely fine as the design is intricate and flowing with elegant floral motifs and leaves. The colour palette is rich and decorative, deep blues, pale gold tones, muted greens make a beautiful long corridor runner or hall runner. The light border colour compliments the deep blue tones, on one of the best new modern runners we have in our inventory. This modern runner is hand-woven in Afghanistan, we have worked closely with a family run business for over 15 years now who produce beautiful bespoke carpets, rugs and runners for us.
All our contemporary runners are hand woven in Afghanistan, India and Turkey using the same traditional techniques of antique pieces. Using soft quality wool is paramount to producing a durable decorative runner, woven all by hand and with natural plant dyes they are beautiful elegant runners.
