Object Description
An exceptionally fine quality mid-19th century all carved wood and gilt mirror, with original gilding and original plate. Overlapping bars adorned with three-dimensional drapes and wreaths of carved European flora create the principle rectangular frame surrounding the inner oval. The original central oval shaped mirror is finished with a 3cm bevelled edge, while the four corner mirrors add further depth to the decorative expanse.
