Very Fine American Hepplewhite Serpentine Sideboard, c. 1790. Likely New York. The curved top with stringing over two small and one wide drawer, the interiors of the smaller having cutler compartments, over three cabinets, the central cabinet flanked by two bottle drawers. Ebony and boxwood inlay and stringing throughout, over tapered legs also having fine inlay detail. This example has clean lines and particular sophistication. 38.5” h. x 68” w. s 25” d.
