Object Description
Good late 18th century George 3rd mahogany kettle stand in original condition. Nice tripod base with finely turned and carved column with nice shaped legs with carved knees and pad feet. The dished top with nicely moulded edge. Original turned boss underneath. The table is a nice colour with good patination, the top has been sympathetically freshed up. Waxed finish.
You have to be slightly careful with these as so many of these were made up from pole screen bases but I am pretty certain this is a perfectly genuine example. The column is right and un-touched.
