Object Description
A finely inlaid antique kingwood oval French single drawer occasional table with parquetry and marquetry inlay circa 1920.
Of oval form, the very ornate top has a kingwood parquetry base with a central marquetry medallion spreading outwards having mother of pearl inlay enclosed by a crossbanded border and brass mould, below which the shaped frieze of similar design incorporates a fully oak lined drawer.
This attractive table is finished to all sides so able to stand freely within the room if desired and is raised on fluted tapering square cut legs having a brass medallion to the top and terminating on square brass sabots.
Offered in excellent condition having been finely restored using traditional methods this very attractive table can be used in a variety of rooms within the home.
