Object Description
Fine matched pair of Regency period Gillows of Lancaster rosewood library tables of the highest quality. Both tables are exactly the same design and style but there are minor differences as can be seen in the photos. Spaced away from each other either side of a fireplace for example they will look superb. With their scale and size they would look much better than a pair of games tables in a larger room. Both tables are in first class original condition with no issues at all. Both are a nice colour. I will let the pictures do the talking.
SIZE; 46″ wide by 26″ deep by 28 1/2″ high
CIRCA; 1810 – 1830
Although not stamped that I can see these tables are definitely by Gillows of Lancaster as they are illustrated in the book and I have had the exact design stamped underneath before in the past.
