Object Description
This fine pair of crested lace back spoons were made in London in 1678 by John Smith and measure 8 inches in length and have lacing to the fronts of the stems and the backs of the bowls. They are fully hallmarked to the backs of the stems and have good rat tails to the backs of the bowls with the crests of a lurcher to the stem, the lacing is still good and the bowls are well formed with very little wear, a lovely pair of spoons in very good condition weighing 3.55 ounces or 111 grams. Will split the pair if only one required.
