Object Description
A Fine Quality Regency Period Mahogany Pair Of Side
Cabinets Of Unusually Sweet, Small Proportions Having
Well Figured Tops Over Frieze Drawers With Replaced
Brass Handles And Pleated Panelled Doors Raised On
Elegant Turned Tapering Legs With Original Brass Castors
(This charming pair of cabinets are a rarely found small
proportion. Constructed from a delightful cut of mahogany
they ooze elegance and class. The doors open in opposite
directions which is often referenced as evidence of a true pair of
any item. The brass handles are later replacements but very much
of the style and quality that would have been used originally. The
overall condition is good and clean and they are ready to go
straight into functioning use. Should the purchaser want to change
fabric contained within the door panels for one of their choice to
perhaps suit their own color scheme then this would also be a
relatively simple and inexpensive job. These could be used in
many, many different rooms around the home, possibly even
as an option as bedside tables amongst the many other functions
which they could be used for).
