Object Description
This fine pair of Regency salts and spoons were made in Sheffield in 1812 by S.C.Younge&Co and the spoons in London in 1839 by William Eaton, the salts are 4.25 inches long by 3 3/8 inches wide and they are 2 inches at their tallest, they have a cast gadrooned, acanthus leaf and shell border and stand on 4 large cast scrolled and ball and claw feet, they are fully hallmarked under the bases and are gilded to the interiors, the spoons are Kings husk pattern with gilded bowls, an exceptional pair of salts and spoons weighing 9.35 ounces or 304 grams.
