Object Description
Fine pair of early Scottish Wemyss ware candlesticks in the famous cabbage roses design. This particular design of Wemyss candlesticks is very pleasing to the eye. Square bases with round stems and large round sconces. Beautifully painted with cabbage roses both fully open and buds. These are a proper pair, both marked and stamped the same underneath. Both have the early impressed Wemyss mark plus the green Wemyss signature for Sandland.
The condition of both is very good with only very minor professional restorations to the rims.
