A fine quality 19th century (circa 1830) French mahogany Gueridon table with original black and white veined marble top, possibly Gris Sainte Anne.
This table consists of the original marble top of black and white veined marble, possibly Gris Sainte Anne, with a moulded outer edge supported by a figured mahogany frieze with moulded edge below.
This leads down to a finely figured mahogany veneered baluster column with hexagonal moulded collar all supported on a tri-form base with scrolling supports and carved decoration terminating with carved paw feet and original brass castors below.
This table and marble top are in very good original condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
