Object Description
A finely carved antique mahogany and leather upholstered armchair dating to the late 19th Century circa 1880-1900.
Having a square carved mahogany framed back with padded leather upholstery the arms swept down to a cushioned armrest supported by very finely carved columns to the front. The sprung leather stuff-over seat having a brass nailed stud-work with carved mahogany lower frame. Raised on finely fluted tapering ring turned legs terminating on brass cup castors.
A very attractive and fine quality armchair having been recently upholstered in a top quality hand dyed tan leather.
Offered in excellent condition having been finely restored using traditional methods and very good armchair that will work in any traditional setting.
