Object Description
A fine quality early 19th century (circa 1835) William IVth mahogany breakfast tilt top table of excellent patina.
This table consists of a wonderfully figured mahogany top with outer mahogany cross banding with an applied turned moulding to the edge leading down to a frieze with moulded edge.
The base consists of a tapered, reeded and turned column leading down to an acanthus carved collar with gadroon decoration below all supported on a tri-form concave platform base with applied turned moulded decoration all supported on three turned and reeded bun feet.
This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
