A fine quality late 18th century (circa 1790) mahogany bow front chest of drawers of good patina.
This chest of drawers consists of a finely figured mahogany top with mahogany and boxwood stringing with an outer rosewood banding and moulded edge.
This leads down to four mahogany graduated cockbeaded drawers, all oak lined, with fine quality brass circular pierced handles (not original)
Below the drawers is a shaped apron both to the front and sides, the sides of nicely figured mahogany.
This chest of drawers is in excellent condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
