Object Description
A fine quality late 19th century blue glass and gilt metal centrepiece of oval form in the Classical style, possibly Swedish.
This centrepiece consists of an oval gilt metal (ormolu) holder with oval blue glass liner in good condition for age.
The gilt metal holder has pierced foliate decoration to the top leading down to a pair of cherubs to either side supported by scrolling foliate designs with a Classical urn to each end and supported by four foliate feet.
This centrepiece is in very good original condition for age, can go straight into a home and could be used for many purposes.
