Object Description
A fine quality Mid-Century brass and leather French three tier etagere.
French, Circa 1960’s.
Of Regency design and always popular, this etagere is a cut above the norm. Having decorative pineapple finials to the upper tier held by finely reeded supports terminating on very delicate tapering legs.
Each of the three tiers retaining their original tan and gilt tooled leather with the central tier showing a little more sign of use. To the sides, between each tier are decorative cross sections with a central brass rose motif, very decorative and also helps to support a secure structure.
The leather work is of a fine tan colour and the brass patination is just perfect.
Not only a practical item of furniture but also very stylish and decorative for all schemes of interior design.
