Object Description
A fine quality set of six 19th century (circa 1830) Regency rosewood dining chairs with brass inlaid decoration.
Each chair consists of a shaped back rail with carved gadroon decoration with carved rosettes to either end with fine quality inlaid brass decoration to the centre with moulded rail to the side.
This leads down to the back rest having gadroon carved decoration above a central inlaid brass panel with superbly carved lyre to either side.
The fitted upholstered seats lead down to the turned and reeded legs to the front with out swept legs to the back.
This set of chairs are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
