A fine quality early 19th century set of six Regency rosewood dining chairs with brass inlaid decoration.
Each chair consists of a shaped back rail with gadroon carved decoration with carved rosettes to each end with fine quality inlaid brass decoration to the centre with moulded rail to the side.
This leads down to the back rest having gadroon carving above a central inlaid brass panel with superbly carved lyre to either side.
The fitted upholstered seats lead down to the legs, being turned and reeded to the front and outswept to the back.
This set of chairs are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
