A fine qulaity early 20th century Georgian style mahogany Gainsborough armchair.
This chair consists of an upholstered back and seat supported by finely carved shaped arm supports with rosette and foliate decoration.
This leads down to the cabriole legs, all being finely carved with scrolling foliate decoration, the front legs terminating with a ball and claw foot, the back legs a pad foot.
The upholstery has not been changed as is in good condition, of a neutral tone, this could however easily be changed to a fabric of choice once purchased.
This armchair is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
