These superb quality, very stylish dining chairs, of a particularly elegant design, executed in the finest solid mahogany that is beautifully faded to a mellow colour.
Design
This quintessentially Regency design with tablet backs, rope-twist bars, scrolled arms and reeded legs, often referred to as ‘Trafalgar’, is one of Gillows’ signatyre styles during the early 19th century. Exceptional quality of mahogany, used in solid even for seat rails, smart engineering and the highest standard of workmanship, also emblematic of Gillows oeuvre, ensured that the chairs survived to these days without breaks, repairs or restorations.
Very comfortable and of generous proportions.
