Object Description
This very rare cased set of Punch, Judy and Toby cast handled Victorian silver serving spoons and sifter spoon were made in London in 1891 by EF and HT and measure 9 inches tall the serving spoons and 5.25 inches the sifter, the cast handles are of a twisted design with a roundel half way up the stem leading to a seal top above which stands the figure of Punch to 2 of the spoons and |Judy to the other 2 and the sifter spoon is Toby the dog, the cast figures are very sharp and well detailed with the sifter spoon being nicely pierced, the condition is such that they appear to have had very little use and weigh 13.85 ounces or 431 grams, they are contained in a burgundy case that is lined with silk and velvet and is in super condition, a very rare set in excellent condition.
