Object Description
This fine Georgian silver pique box was made C1730 and measures 3.25 inches in length by 2.5 inches wide and depicts a town scene below a tree with a winged cherub flying to the side of it and a winged heart above it, it has a bannered motto IE QVITE TOVT POVR VOVS above the scene, it has a stand away hinge which works well and the tortoiseshell is well figured and is in very good condition.
