Object Description
This is a very good quality English Walnut Footstool with a wool-work top, circa 1850 early Victorian
The stool has a nominally circular shape with a well hand carved walnut frame having four short cabriole legs, typical of the mid Victorian period. The hand carving on the frame and legs is very well executed with good detail.
The stool is over stuffed and has a hand stitched wool work top with a floral theme against a beige ground colour.
