Object Description
A 19th century Louis XVI style extending game table made of acajou mouchete mahogany and adorned with high quality ormolu mounts. The game table hosts an interesting mechanism: the back legs can be pulled out by pressing a hidden wooden button underneath that allows the side to extend to double the size of the table. The card table opens to a baize lined interior, perfect for playing cards. Intricate 18th century style ormolu flower swags embellish the corners, the legs are headed by acanthus cast mounts. On fluted tapering legs with stiff-leaf cast sabots.
