Object Description

A French Empire bergere day bed with the original painting and gilding.Raised end with shaped arms,turned and fluted legs.

Object Condition

Basically good condition,there have been some old repairs to the outer cane sides and end which are double caned.The cushions and base are sound but need re-covering.
The day bed is stylish and very comfortable.
