Circa 1880, finest quality French Empire style mahogany ladies writing table, the fretted brass gallery above the writing surface with a brass edge and nicely patinated leather skiver. Below this, the frieze has deeply cast ormolu garlands and there are 3 drawers with foliate design handles. All standing on fluted turned supports on brass toes.
