Object Description

Fine French Ormolu table clock featuring a beautifully decorated base with cherub and classical scenes resting on an ormolu outswept base with floral decoration..

The base is mounted with a spectacular cart and heavenly cherubs pulled by two goats, the driver is encouraging his team.

The dial encompasses the spokes of the wheel and has a raised gilded chapter ring with individual enamel Roman numerals and original gilded hands.

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
