French ormolu fireguard in the Rococo style.

Object Description

A fine quality late 19th century French ormolu fire/spark guard in the Rococo style. The shaped top with central laurel leaf handle and ribbon decoration, above a mesh panel with centre mask, the base with shaped legs terminating in hoof feet. French Circa 1890.

Object Condition

A good size with well chased ormolu decoration, in good order throughout.
