Object Description
An early 20th century French perpetual charm calendar.
The calendar would have been worn on a charm bracelet or a chatelaine.
The charm is embossed with “Calendrier La Nuit Coucher, Breloque Le Jour Lever” on one side with the days of the week in French and the letters B.S.G.D.G (Breveté sans garantie du gouvernement) on the other.
The brass discs on each side revolve above the silvered inner disc the adjust to the desired date and time of the sunrise/sunset.
The calendar is in good order. (Circa 1900)
