Geo III mahogany writing chair.

Object Description

A large Geo III mahogany writing chair, the shaped top rail above a pierced carved centre splat, extravagantly shaped arms above a drop in seat, square legs united by plain stretchers. A good bold chair with some Chippendale influence and exceptional shaped arms. English Circa 1770.

Object Condition

Fine colour and patina , very comfortable and in good original condition throughout The width is measured to the outside of the arms, the seat is 24 ins wide and 18.5 ins high.
