Object Description
Circa 1730, George II oak armchair. The back with a shaped and rounded top rail over a large vasiform splat and rounded rectangular uprights and outswept arms on turned supports. The solid oak seat (possibly later replacement) above a deep seat rail with exposed pegs. All supported on ‘primitive’ turned legs with pad feet.
