Object Description
Circa 1790, George III inlaid mahogany bow-front chest of drawers. The top is in figured Spanish mahogany with boxwood string inlay and edging over a typically Scottish configuration of 3 short over 3 long drawers. These have inlaid flame mahogany veneers, brass swan neck handles, cock beading and ash liners all over a moulded base and French bracket feet.
